ABOUT SAM

The son of a member of the United States Air Force, Sam Anders followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. His career in the military eventually led to serving on active duty in Operation Enduring Freedom. While stationed at Robins Air Force Base here in Georgia Sam met his wife, Katherine, and they have since settled down in Coweta County to raise their three daughters.

Still serving in the United States Air Force Reserve, Sam is running for the Georgia House of Representatives because he sees the need for a new voice in the General Assembly. This district deserves someone that better represents our conservative values, knows how to get things done for our communities, and has a proven commitment to service.

After completing his active duty service in the Air Force, Sam began a career in the private sector putting his leadership skills and business acumen to use. He currently works for Sinclair Systems International where he overseas a team of service technicians across the East Coast while managing their regional budgets and leading customer service initiatives. It is these experiences in the military and private sector, along with the skills that he has acquired, that Sam Anders will put to use in the Georgia House of Representatives to fight for District 71.

Active in our community, Sam has served as his neighborhood association president and is the current chairman of the Coweta Community Domestic Violence Resource Center. He has also committed significant time and resources to causes that benefit our veterans. His continued dedication and service to his country has led Sam to be appointed to the VFW’s National Legislative Committee. Sam also serves on the Veterans Advisory Council for Congressman Drew Ferguson for issues impacting our veterans.

All of Sam’s three daughters attend public schools in Coweta County, and the Anders are active members of Southside Church.

Sam Anders will go to work as our State Representative to bring more high-paying jobs to this district, cut wasteful government spending and return that money to Georgians and their businesses that invest in our region. He will fight the one size fits all model to educating our children, and push more opportunities for our children to get the skills they need to compete for the jobs provided by industries in our area. As a veteran who has fought for our country, Sam Anders will make sure our law enforcement personnel and those who keep us safe have the resources and support they need to do their job.

Sam Anders is the lifelong conservative we need as our next State Representative for District 71. Through a lifetime of service to our nation and Georgia, he has a proven record of doing what’s right for his family and his neighbors. Now is the chance to send Sam to the Capitol to fight for us.

AS A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN,
SAM ANDERS WILL:

CREATE GOOD-PAYING JOBS.
Sam Anders knows the power of a good paying job, and the impact it can have on our families and community. Sam will work tirelessly with job creators and existing industries in the region to create more jobs today for our neighbors, and tomorrow for our children.

PROTECT LIFE.
Sam is unapologetically pro-life. As our State Representative, Sam Anders will fight for those who cannot fight for themselves and vote for legislation that protects every life from conception.

DEFEND THE 2nd AMENDMENT.
Having served our country on active duty, Sam Anders has seen firsthand the need to protect himself with only his weapon. He believes every Georgian should have the same right to defend themselves, their family, and their property. Sam will stand up to any and all liberal activists at the Capitol who push for restrictions of our constitutional rights.

LIMIT GOVERNMENT CONTROL.
As a lifelong conservative, Sam believes government should handle the core responsibilities to the people it represents and then get out of the way for them to live their lives as they see fit. Sam not only wants to reduce the size of state government, but also reduce the influence in our daily lives. After all, government isn’t the answer to many of our problems but rather the cause.

CONTROL SPENDING.
There is still too much waste and burdensome red tape in state government. Sam will go to the Capitol looking to streamline services and do more with less just like he has in the private sector. Then he will fight for tax cuts that return those savings to our businesses and us.

STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
Until the federal government can work through liberal obstructionists and defend our border, Georgia must do everything it can to protect our citizens from criminal illegal aliens. Sam Anders will use his military background to work with local, state, and federal law enforcement authorizes to identify, track, and deport illegal immigrants who are in our state to commit crimes. He will also support all efforts to defund sanctuary cities.

SAM ANDERS FOR STATE HOUSE

• A lifelong conservative, Sam Anders isn’t afraid of a tough fight with liberal activists and their out of touch agenda in Georgia. Sam will protect our 2nd Amendment rights, defend our pro-life beliefs, and stand tall against anyone at the Capitol who attempts to take away our God-given rights as law-abiding Georgians.
• Sam Anders is a fiscal conservative who understands the power of a job and economic development. We have the workforce and resources to create more jobs here at home, not in Atlanta. All that’s missing is someone to lead and tell our story. Sam is ready to partner with local businesses and industry leaders to cut taxes and eliminate burdensome regulations that will lead to significant job creation and investment here in the district.
• As a veteran in the USAF, Sam Anders knows the first responsibility of every elected official is to keep those they represent safe. Sam stands with President Trump and agrees we must do more to secure the border and enforce the immigration laws we currently have. Here in Georgia, that means outlawing sanctuary cities. As our State Representative, Sam will work to ensure that no sanctuary city in our state receives state funding and our law enforcement officials partner with federal immigration authorities to locate, arrest, and deport criminal illegal aliens.
